Probably a clue to why Vitek Vanecek is getting a break tonight vs. Capitals and did some extra work after the morning skate today: He has a .821 save % and 4.26 GAA over his past five starts. His save % is .896 since Jan. 11, but he's 12-2-1 over that stretch.
