This move was made to create room for defenseman Riley Stillman to be added to the Sabres' roster. Dahlin's IR placement will be retroactive to his last game, which was Friday in Florida.

Dahlin was unlikely to play Saturday against Tampa Bay.

Granato says Dahlin will not play in Boston tomorrow and says right now Saturday against Tampa Bay is not looking likely.

Dahlin skated this morning, however, and he’s waiting to see what the medical response is to that. He does not want to rush him back.

Tuch scored his 28th goal of the season Saturday night in Sunrise. He left in the third period of Buffalo's 3-1 win over Florida.
